Handy blogging tools

I rarely write about technology tools here, but I ran across two web tools recently that I think may be useful for bloggers…

  1. Cite Bite. Input a URL and a block of text from that web page. Cite Bite will create a link that not only will send you to the page but also highlight the block of text for the visitor.
  • SceneMaker. SceneMaker allows you to create bookmarks within a YouTube video and then hyperlink to them. This saves visitors from having to sit through nonessential parts of the video. See also veotag and mojiti.
  • I like the idea of these kinds of tools. They empower users with greater control over their hyperlinks. Anyone know of similar tools out there that might be of use to bloggers?
