Jellyfish Flipball

Bottlenose dolphins have been caught on film playing an impromptu game of soccer with a jellyfish. A team of marine biologists expressed their astonishment at seeing one of the friendly sea mammals swim under a jellyfish and kick it out of the water with a quick flip of its tail just off the coast of Wales in the UK. The jellyfish footballs soared out of the water, reportedly reaching heights of up to six feet in the air. Experts told The Daily Mail that they believe the game of “flipball” goes back hundreds of thousands of years and may even explain why dolphins held in captivity are so skilful with beach balls.
