Wes Boyd: The founding of our country. It’s sort of a remarkable thing when you think about it. There’s the insight – the enlightening insight – that freedom is the foundation of our . . . of our security and our safety. It’s remarkable that it took hold so strongly, and it really is the foundation of our country. That is our hope for the future, that we don’t get mired in worrying so much and being so fearful that we give up who we are. So you know that . . . I refer back to that time over and over again.
