Them Apples?

The Apple marketing department is taking subtle swipes at Microsoft via Google AdWords.

If there is one thing you can say for the Apple marketing department it is that they love nothing better than taking subtle swipes at Microsoft, claims The Inquisitr. Although it has traditionally made jibes via TV and web advertising, Apple has recently expanded its arsenal to include Google AdWords – a system whereby firms purchase keywords to ensure their products are ranked highly by the Google search engine. Apple has been buying Microsoft related AdWords so that anyone who searches “download Windows 7” for example, will get a link saying “Upgrading to Windows 7? There’s never been a better time to switch to a Mac.” Talk about guerrilla advertising!
