Test Drive: 2009 Audi A4 3.2 Quattro – Function It’s easy to believe Audi’s claim that the A4 cockpit was designed to be driver-oriented. The center console is well laid out, and most of the A4’s buttons are easily within reach. A navigation screen set high in the dash makes for excellent visibility, and an additional color display set between the speedometer and tachometer in the instrument cluster allows the driver to toggle through entertainment, phone and car information without even looking over at the nav screen. The command center for most of the A4’s controls is still Audi’s MMI system, which is relatively user-friendly (and consequently, doesn’t inspire quite as much hatred as BMW’s iDrive). For 2009, the MMI knob and neighboring buttons were moved aft of the gearshift, which allows for even easier access.

Honda Fit Sport With Navigation Function One of the most appealing things about the 2009 Honda Fit is the versatility of its cabin. The rear seats fold flat to allow for a whopping 57 cubic feet of maximum cargo capacity. That’s substantially more than the previous generation’s 42 cubes, and it establishes the Fit as a segment leader when it comes to cargo volume. The Vibe, for example, offers 49 cubic feet, and the Scion xD is even more space-challenged, with just 36 cubes. Relative to the first-generation model, the current Fit has a lower tailgate, making it easier to load and unload items.

First Glance: Evolution defined The old version of the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution was, and still is, one of my favorite cars on the planet. Normally, I’m a little hesitant to drive an all-new version of a car I love. What if the manufacturer has totally screwed it up? Somehow, though, I knew that Mitsubishi wouldn’t. There are plenty of things on which I think Mitsi has missed the mark, but the Lancer Evolution is the one car they’ve always done 100% right. I didn’t expect that to change. (As it turns out, I was correct.) Sell Lime CarSell Lime CarBuy Lime CarsBuy Lime CarLime Cars DealerFind Lime CarsFind Lime Car
