Evan Thompson is professor of philosophy at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver. His most recent book (with Adam Frank and Marcelo Gleiser) is The Blind Spot. His other books include Mind in Life; Waking, Dreaming, Being; Why I Am Not a Buddhist; and The Embodied Mind (with Francsico Varela and Eleanor Rosch).
