Chris Begley

Chris Begley is an archaeologist, professor, and author who has conducted archaeological research across the globe, including in El Salvador, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, Bolivia, Spain, Italy, Albania, Montenegro, Croatia, and Greece. Begley was named National Geographic Explorer in 2012, and his work has been covered by outlets such as The New Yorker, National Geographic, and American Archaeology. Begley is the author of the 2021 book The Next Apocalypse: The Art and Science of Survival.
