Housekeeping

Given some of the comments that have shown up on the blog over the past few days, Waq al-waq has decided to disallow anonymous comments. While we encourage different views and a robust debate in the comment sections (and in guest posts) we draw the line at comments that appear to glorify the killing of others. We will not, for the moment, moderate comments but this remains an option if disallowing anonymous posters does not solve the problem.

I realize many of the people that read this blog prefer not to comment under their own name or even a pseudonym and even though I disagree with that approach I understand the bureaucratic culture that necessitates such a stance. But the majority of you that fall into that category prefer not to comment anyway.
